RUECVET workshops in Nukus

On October 10, 2019, “Designing units of learning outcomes in ECVET” workshop was organized at NukSPI ECVET National Training Center for students of the faculty of foreign languages ​​of the NukSPI. Asiya Tureniyazova, local coordinator of the RUECVET project, explained the advantages and basic principles of ECVET, the possibilities of academic and labor mobility in ECVET, the principle of transparency and ensuring the quality of education and training. She also talked about the goals and objectives, as well as the results of the RUECVET project. Trainer Dina Mamirbaeva explained the meaning of the concepts of learning outcomes and units of learning outcomes in ECVET. Specific learning outcomes developed on the basis of employers needs, clear assessment criteria in ECVET were particularly mentioned. The methodology was illustrated with examples. After questions&answers the participants were given certificates on the successful completion of the workshop.

On October 12, 2019, a workshop “Designing units of learning outcomes in ECVET” was organized for IT teachers and students of Master study of the Nukus branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, teachers of the Nukus College of Computer Technologies. The local coordinator of the RUECVET project, implemented at NukSPI, National expert of ECVET, head of the department of information technology of TUIT Asiya Tureniyazova explained the essence and advantages, the main mechanisms and tools of ECVET – the European credit system for vocational education and training, presented the goals and objectives of the RUECVET project, as well as the results achieved. Definitions of learning outcomes and units of learning outcomes in ECVET were given, and methodology of designing units of LO was illustrated by examples of developed by the project team Computer Networks and Computer Architecture units for VET qualification of Computer Engineering Technician. Participants received answers to questions of interest and Certificates of participation.
