Meeting at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On December 20, 2019, an official meeting on the results of the project “RUECVET: Piloting the European credit system for vocational education and training ECVET in the national vocational education systems of Russia and Uzbekistan” of the Erasmus+ program was held at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At a reception at the Deputy Minister for Professional Education, Mr. Kholmukhamedov M.M. the managers and teachers of the Institute of Pedagogical Innovations and Continuous Professional Development of VET Managers (IPI) under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan also took part.

National Coordinator of RUECVET project Tureniyazova A.I. reported on the work carried out under the project and plans to ensure the sustainability of the results. The Ministry was given the Report “Recommendations on the implementation of ECVET in the national system of higher and vocational education of Uzbekistan” as a result of collective work on a project of partners from Uzbekistan.

                      

The Ministry noted that the introduction of a credit-module training system based on the best European practices, as innovations in the field of professional education of the republic, is a very important step for the implementation of the policy tasks outlined in Presidential Decree No. 5812 of September 6, 2019 «On additional measures to further improve the vocational education system” The experience of the RUECVET project should be disseminated, and activities to develop the vocational education and training system of the republic should be continued.

An agreement was reached on joint actions, and in particular, a recommendation was given by the Ministry to the project of A.I. Tureniyazova “Organization of training courses on ECVET — European credit system for VET methodology for workers of VET system of the republic”, participating in the competition “100 best innovative projects of women Of Uzbekistan ”, which passed the regional tour and passed to the final of the competition.
